Welcome to
Catalysis and Carbon Utilization (CCU) Laboratory
About The CCU Lab
The Catalysis and Carbon Utilization (CCU) Laboratory is a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to developing innovative catalytic solutions for environmental and energy challenges. Our team focuses on designing advanced materials and processes for two critical applications: (1) converting CO₂ emissions into sustainable fuels and value-added chemicals and (2) developing novel water treatment technologies for environmental remediation.
We bridge fundamental research with practical applications by integrating experimental catalysis, advanced materials characterization, and computational modeling. Our current work spans several key areas:
Heterogeneous catalysis for CO₂ hydrogenation and conversion
Design of functional materials for water purification
Process optimization using machine learning approaches
Development of sustainable catalytic systems for industrial applications
