Shaima’ develops silica-based sorbents for micro-solid-phase extraction (µ-SPE) to detect organic contaminants in wastewater. She holds a BSc with honors from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and an MSc in Chemistry from KFUPM, where she earned multiple research awards. She focuses on designing advanced materials to enhance extraction efficiency and environmental safety. She enjoys family gatherings, travelling, and seaside relaxation outside the lab.
